Neither of them will be sufficient alone. For example, when it is said that one of the characteristics of a waiting person is caring for the deprived, we must both theoretically state the verses and narrations, examples, stories, etc., and practically examine the problems of the real deprived people with the student in a dignified and godly manner and solve them with their help. When the student tastes the joy of serving the needy, he will live in a way that the Holy Quran intends, and when necessary, giving up materialism will be as easy for him as drinking water. با نگاهی گذرا به آیات و روایات راجع به ویژگیهای انسان منتظر استفاده می‏شود که کسی را می‏توان منتظر واقعی نامید که این صفات و ویژگی ها را دارا باشد. <br />لذا به نظر می‏رسد بهترین شیوه برای این منظور ترکیبی از آموزش تئوری و عملی باشد. هیچ کدام به تنهایی کافی نخواهد بود. به عنوان مثال وقتی گفته می‏شود یکی از ویژگی های منتظر رسیدگی به محرومین است، باید هم از نظر تئوری آیات و روایات، نمونه ها، قصه ها و... را بیان کرد و هم عملاً همراه با دانشجو به شکل آبرومندانه و خداپسندانه مشکلات محرومین واقعی را بررسی و با کمک آنان رفع کنیم. وقتی که دانشجو لذت خدمت به نیازمندان را چشید، طوری زندگی خواهد کرد که منظور قرآن مجید است و به وقت ضرورت گذشت از مادیت برای او به آسانی نوشیدن آب است.
