The transformation of fear into security constitutes one of the promises pledged by the Almighty to the believers in this verse. This study aims to ascertain the precise semantics of the terms "fear" (<em>Khawf</em>) and "security" (<em>Amn</em>) through a descriptive-analytical method and a scrutiny of Imami exegeses. The explication and analysis of the collected data refute the hypothesis that restricts the scope of fear and security solely to fear of disbelievers and external adversaries of the Islamic society within specific territories. Instead, the findings demonstrate that this transformation is interpreted in alignment with the ultimate objective of <em>Istikhlāf</em>—which is the consolidation of the Religion of Truth and the sincere worship of the Almighty. Consequently, the transition from fear to security manifests comprehensively, encompassing all internal and external factors, transcending any specific territorial limitations. <span lang="FA">آیه شریفه ۵۵ سوره نور، که به نام آیه «وَعْد» یا «استخلاف» نامیده شده است، جایگاهی ویژه در بحث مهدویت دارد. تبدیل خوف به امنیت، یکی از وعده‌هایی است که خداوند در این آیه به مؤمنان داده است.</span><br><span lang="FA">این نوشتار درصدد است تا با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و با بررسی تفاسیر امامیه، به شناخت معنای دو واژه «خوف» و «امنیت» دست یابد.</span><br><span lang="FA">نتایج تبیین و تحلیل داده‌های جمع‌آوری شده، با ابطال نظریه‌ای که خوف و امنیت را صرفاً به «خوف از کفار و دشمنان بیرونی جامعه اسلامی» و «امنیت از آنان» محدود کرده و آن را منحصر به سرزمین‌های خاصی می‌داند، نشان می‌دهد که این تبدیل در راستای هدف استخلاف </span><span lang="FA">-</span><span lang="FA"> که تثبیت دین حق و عبادت خالصانه حق‌تعالی است </span><span lang="FA">-</span><span lang="FA"> معنا می‌یابد؛ به گونه‌ای که تبدیل خوف به امنیت، از تمام عوامل درونی و بیرونی و بدون محدودیت به سرزمینی خاص، رخ می‌نماید.</span> https://www.mahdimag.ir/article_234133_51847d368c8f35f0e76da6b6d79b998e.pdf
